Pokémon Go's Mewtwo to debut worldwide via invite-only raids

图片
The legendary Mewtwo first arrived in Pokémon Go this morning at the game's special Yokohama, Japan event. Now, we know how Mewtwo will be released everywhere else in the world - and it's a huge change from normal. Mewtwo will be the first Pokémon available from new invite-only Exclusive Raid Battles, which will require players to have recently defeated a raid boss at the Exclusive Raid location to take part. So, say you complete several raids over the course of a week across your area at various gyms. The following week you may then get an Exclusive Raid invitation for Mewtwo at one of those locations. Invites will "include advance warning of when the Exclusive Raid will take place", developer Niantic has said. It's not clear how long this will be - or how soon beforehand you will need to have defeated a raid boss to be included. There's no word of what other Pokémon might feature in Exclusive Raids. The other legendary featured in the game's

Mewtwo Just Released In Japan For Pokemon GO

图片
This is no prank. Mewtwo has finally been released as a Pokémon Go raid boss at an event in Yokohama, Japan as you can see in the above photo by Twitter user and YouTuber MYSTIC7. The character hasn't yet been announced for other regions, and right now, Mewtwo appears to be limited to the Pokémon Go Stadium event that's going on during the Pikachu Outbreakevent in Yokohama. Last week, a Shiny Pikachu was also released at the festivities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more update about Pokemon Go , you can follow Mobile gaming on Google Play Newsstand .

The Shiny Pikachu Released For Pokemon GO In Japan Is Subtle

图片
At the Pikachu Outbreak event in Yokohama, Pokemon GO players have been finding the shiny version of everyone's favourite electric rodent. Shiny Pokémon are rare alternate colour versions, and this Pikachu is a rather subtle variation. You can compare the Shiny on the left with the standard Pikachu on the right. Some even think this Pikachu looks tan! There is also a Shiny Raichu. People have been catching both at the Yokohama Pokemon GO Park event. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For more update about Pokemon Go , you can follow Mobile gaming on Google Play Newsstand .

Australasia-exclusive Kangaskhan headed to Pokémon Go in Europe

图片
Kangaskhan, an armoured kangaroo-like marsupial, is usually only available in Australia and New Zealand. But for the next few weeks, until 21st August, you'll also be able to find them in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester - plus various other cities in mainland Europe. The full list is below. Cities will begin spawning the creature imminently, developer Niantic said in a new blog , along with increased instances of seeing the various forms of alphabetical Pokémon Unown. If you don't have an Unown yet - and they are near mythically-difficult to find without a bit of help - now's your chance. If you want a Kangaskhan without a 20-hour flight, again, now is your chance. The full list of cities included in the event lies below. Niantic also has a bigger set of events planned for a half dozen or so mainland European capitals - although some were recently delayed following the technical difficulties at Chicago's Pokémon Go Fest. Pokemon GO Players Beat A Moltres Raid With Just Two People

图片
Legendary raids are supposed to be Pokemon GO 's toughest battles, with promotional materials often showing large groups of people fighting a single monster. Turns out, it's possible to down a legendary with just two people. You'll note that the whole thing was done with fan-favourite counter-pick Golem, with levels in the 30s, CP in the high 2000s, and likely with high IVs to boot. In this case, Golem's rock/ground-type resists Moltres' primary attacks, something that certainly helps when trying to duo a mighty monster. The players have to go through a small army of Golem to defeat Moltres, and by the end, there are only seconds left on the timer. Boushinshi just baaaaarely pulls it off. Fans predicted this would be possible a while back, but seeing it in action is something else. To think throwing rocks at legendaries over and over again would be this effective!
