Pokémon Go introduces Super Incubators in Equinox event

图片
After the madness of Pokémon Go 's summer Legendary raiding, the app is bringing back its smaller scale monthly events. First up is Equinox, to celebrate the arrival of autumn. It will run from 9pm UK time on Friday 22nd September until 9pm UK time on Monday 2nd October. Most notable about the event is its introduction of Super Incubators, a new item which will hatch Pokémon eggs 1.5x faster than normal. These will, it sounds like, only be available in paid-for boxes via the in-game shop. When the event begins, players will have the chance of picking up a special 2km egg variant with rare Pokémon such as Chansey, Mareep and Larvitar in - perfect for anyone who still needs one, or who wants to evolve a Blissey/Ampharos/Tyranitar. Everyone will get double Stardust for catching Pokémon and hatching eggs (so make sure you complete your daily bonus streak). Finally, any new Pokémon registered to your 'dex during the event will nab you triple the usual XP. Everyone shoul

Pokemon CEO claims it has only accomplished 10% of what it wants to do with Pokemon G

图片
The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara has claimed that the firm has only accomplished 10% of what it set out to do in Niantic's game Pokemon GO . Speaking to Bloomberg, Ishihara explained that "going forward we will have to include fundamental Pokémon experiences such as Pokémon trading and peer-to-peer battles." He also touched on certain design ideas behind the game and its location-based gameplay. He noted that it is difficult to strike a balance between placing Pokemon in areas that make thematic sense, while also allowing players to actually catch them. "One view is to have chilly Pokémon in a cold climate, but then that would also mean that people born on a tropical island won’t be able to catch them," he said. Future of AR Ishitara also touched on the potential of AR, saying that "with current AR, even if you say Pikachu is there, no one really thinks that. But that reality is just one step away." Aside from Pokemon GO ,

图片
The legendary Mewtwo first arrived in Pokémon Go this morning at the game's special Yokohama, Japan event. Now, we know how Mewtwo will be released everywhere else in the world - and it's a huge change from normal. Mewtwo will be the first Pokémon available from new invite-only Exclusive Raid Battles, which will require players to have recently defeated a raid boss at the Exclusive Raid location to take part. So, say you complete several raids over the course of a week across your area at various gyms. The following week you may then get an Exclusive Raid invitation for Mewtwo at one of those locations. Invites will "include advance warning of when the Exclusive Raid will take place", developer Niantic has said. The other legendary featured in the game's

The Shiny Pikachu Released For Pokemon GO In Japan Is Subtle

图片
At the Pikachu Outbreak event in Yokohama, Pokemon GO players have been finding the shiny version of everyone's favourite electric rodent. Shiny Pokémon are rare alternate colour versions, and this Pikachu is a rather subtle variation. You can compare the Shiny on the left with the standard Pikachu on the right. Some even think this Pikachu looks tan! There is also a Shiny Raichu. People have been catching both at the Yokohama Pokemon GO Park event. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For more update about Pokemon Go , you can follow Mobile gaming on Google Play Newsstand .
