Mewtwo Just Released In Japan For Pokemon GO

图片
This is no prank. Mewtwo has finally been released as a Pokémon Go raid boss at an event in Yokohama, Japan as you can see in the above photo by Twitter user and YouTuber MYSTIC7. The character hasn't yet been announced for other regions, and right now, Mewtwo appears to be limited to the Pokémon Go Stadium event that's going on during the Pikachu Outbreakevent in Yokohama. Last week, a Shiny Pikachu was also released at the festivities. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more update about Pokemon Go , you can follow Mobile gaming on Google Play Newsstand .

The Shiny Pikachu Released For Pokemon GO In Japan Is Subtle

图片
At the Pikachu Outbreak event in Yokohama, Pokemon GO players have been finding the shiny version of everyone's favourite electric rodent. Shiny Pokémon are rare alternate colour versions, and this Pikachu is a rather subtle variation. You can compare the Shiny on the left with the standard Pikachu on the right. Some even think this Pikachu looks tan! There is also a Shiny Raichu. People have been catching both at the Yokohama Pokemon GO Park event. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ For more update about Pokemon Go , you can follow Mobile gaming on Google Play Newsstand .

Australasia-exclusive Kangaskhan headed to Pokémon Go in Europe

图片
Kangaskhan, an armoured kangaroo-like marsupial, is usually only available in Australia and New Zealand. But for the next few weeks, until 21st August, you'll also be able to find them in London, Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester - plus various other cities in mainland Europe. The full list is below. Cities will begin spawning the creature imminently, developer Niantic said in a new blog , along with increased instances of seeing the various forms of alphabetical Pokémon Unown. If you don't have an Unown yet - and they are near mythically-difficult to find without a bit of help - now's your chance. If you want a Kangaskhan without a 20-hour flight, again, now is your chance. The full list of cities included in the event lies below. Niantic also has a bigger set of events planned for a half dozen or so mainland European capitals - although some were recently delayed following the technical difficulties at Chicago's Pokémon Go Fest. More official Pokémon Go events delayed following disastrous Fest

图片
A handful of Pokémon Go events scheduled to run across Europe this month have been postponed, Niantic announced this weekend. The developer said that it’s pushing Europe’s planned official Safari Zone events into the fall — likely in light of the problems that marred Pokémon Go Fest earlier this month. “In order to guarantee the best possible gameplay experience for European Trainers, we have decided to postpone the events in Europe scheduled for August 5 (Copenhagen and Prague) and August 12 (Stockholm and Amsterdam) until a date later in the Fall,” the developer wrote on its blog. Meanwhile, an event planned for Japan in mid-August is still on schedule, as are Safari Zone events in France, Spain and Germany this September. European trainers who wanted to catch rare Pokémon during the events will still have a chance to do so, however. Niantic will unleash some special monsters across certain cities “for a brief time” later this month. Although the developer was careful not ...

Pokemon GO fans are suing Niantic for disastrous Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago

图片
Some annoyed Pokemon GO Fest attendees have decided to sue Niantic due to technical issues faced during the day causing the event to not live up to "what was promised". As Polygon reports, a class-action lawsuit of between 20 and 30 people is being prepared by attendees who travelled great distances to attend the event. This includes some attendees who travelled from Japan to attend. Niantic is already offering full refunds on tickets, along with $100 worth of in-game PokeCoins, and a free Legendary Pokemon that was released at the event. The attendees are asking for further refunds for their travel expenses. Lawsuit, I choose you! Players also continued to enjoy the game after the event in smaller groups, and were still able to catch the Legendary Pokemon. Niantic CEO John Hanke said that over 7.7 million Pokemon were caught in the surrounding area once the event had officially closed. Niantic won't be hugely hurt if it needs to pay up, of course. Pokemon GO's Next Two Legendaries Are Moltres And Zapdos

图片
The Pokemon GO Fest may have been a disaster, but if there was one bright spot to be found in the weekend's events, it was the unlocking of a couple of Legendary Pokemon for folks to catch. Over the next couple of weeks, there'll be two more. Niantic has announced that Moltres will be available between July 31-August 7, and Zapdos will be available between August 8-14. Articuno, meanwhile, will disappear on July 31. (Note: these dates are US time.) As a reminder, here's what you need to do in order to catch a Legendary: As Trainers around the world go out and explore their neighbourhoods in search of Pokemon and Raid Battles, they can keep an eye out for unique Legendary Eggs appearing at Gyms. If Trainers and their team are able to successfully defeat a Legendary Raid Boss, they will have the opportunity to catch a Legendary Pokemon of their own! While Legendary Pokemon will help them take on the toughest Raid Bosses and Gym Battles, they're not willing to le...
